We stretch canvas, artists linen, cotton fabrics, needle work, giclee as well as other textiles and sub-straits onto quality custom stretchers. Metropolitan Framing custom build stretcher frames for non-standard and large format works. We can even supply strainer bar or custom build frames for you to stretch your own works. Trust your artwork to us. Unlike some canvas stretching services, we use only quality materials and processes. v Only Stainless Steel Staples are used to secure your artwork. Other staples may rust over time causing damage to the artwork v Plastic Coated Stainless Steel Hanging wire. This is strong and doesnt stretch or rot. v D-Rings are used on all our work. We dont just staple the cord to the rear of the frame, we finish the job professionally. v Where required, we complete the backing of the stretched artwork with tape, calico or other backing such as foam board or felt. v We use bumpers on back corners of all of our work. v Proper Kiln Dried Pine Strainer Bars are used, not just square edged industrial timber. This allows the work to sit correctly on the frame. v Support braces are used where required ensuring that the work stays taught and square. v All of our work is Satisfaction Guaranteed. v We specialize in Original Aboriginal and Bali Artwork.
